Deidre is also the Founder of Secure Diversity, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the cybersecurity talent shortage.

Diamond’s Advice
I really want to spread the word about Emotional Intelligence. It's the ability to really think about how others feel, think and perceive before we engage them and during the time of engaging them.
That's how we can really create win win conversations. We need more teamwork and we need people to stick together and work projects that take years. If we're going to be able to accomplish those projects, then it's really the emotional intelligence that will be key to this.
I really want to inspire people to understand that you're those skills or something you can still and gain improve. They never cap out like IQ. IQ caps out by your mid early 20s. But Emotional Intelligence skills do not cap out. It's been proven you can grow your Emotional Intelligence at all ages.
